Freedom Dreaming

I got to be in conversation with a couple of other educator/caregivers yesterday. We talked about parenting, our own journeys of unlearning, and how we honor our children's curiosities. The three of us are Folks of the Global Majority navigating white spaces and walk through the world with various degrees of privilege based on our skin tones.

I want more conversations like this.

I want more purposeful spaces for Black and Brown caregivers to share... to share out stories, our experiences, our knowledges, our losses, our wins... all the things.

I want us to have time and space where we can be safe and brave... where we can dream together and create a shared vision for a free future.

Always dreaming of freedom...
